Engine Heating and Cooling

Protect your engine from overheating by keeping the
cooling system working properly.

Engine Heating & Cooling

Checking your auto’s heating and cooling systems is crucial in the weeks preceding winter and summer seasons. But it’s more advisable that you check these systems every time you perform basic vehicle maintenance.

Your radiator uses coolant mixture to help lower the temperatures in your  engine. Under certain conditions (i.e. hot summer days, trailer towing, high speeds), engine operating temperatures may increase to the point of overheating. Because of the coolant’s crucial role in maintaining your engine’s efficiency, you need to keep your vehicle equipped with the right coolant mixture.

Coolant, like all the other fluids, has a tendency to break down over time. This is why you need to replace your coolant mixture at manufacturer recommended intervals.

The cooling system is made up of the following: water pump, radiator, thermostat, hoses and coolant.
